» Keeping leased line costs low

Our leased lines are an option for dissatisfied broadband customers

Managed Comms cheap leased line costs are one of many reasons why our customers are so pleased with their broadband service. However, a recent study of all UK broadband users, published by ISPreview, has found that 56.1 per cent are not happy with the product they are receiving from their ISP.

Perhaps that's why an increasing number of people have decided to pay leased line costs from Managed Comms and gain guaranteed, cast-iron speeds for uploading and downloading. A leased line can help people avoid the often unreliable service provided by a broadband connection and may also cut costs.

With the ISPreview study finding that 41 per cent of people are downloading more than 30GB worth of content per month, it could be that a real saving can be made by companies deciding to use Managed Comms for their connection needs.

The ISPreview study also found that the most common broadband package picked up by consumers is for an 8Mbps package - or at least an advertised speed of 8Mbps - although faster 16-24Mbps packages now account for around 25 per cent of the market.

Leased lines are proving particularly popular among small business due to their reliability. One factor which may have influenced procurement officers is that pricing is based on bandwidth rather than distance, which means customers can make savings of up to 50 per cent.

Indeed, a leased line taken out with Managed Comms could be the perfect solution for the 24 per cent of companies recently found to be unhappy with the broadband package they receive.
