Bonded ADSL guaranteed

Customers paying excessive prices for other packages

A bonded ADSL package from Managed Communications has been recommended for businesses after a new survey revealed customers are paying excessive subscription packages for below-par connection speeds.

Samknows, the independent internet research firm, found that a majority of ADSL broadband subscribers were not being provided with the speeds promised by the provider.

Alex Salter from SamKnows said that many consumers would be disappointed by their average internet speeds.

"There is a substantial 'reality gap' between what consumers are sold, and what they end up actually getting," he said.

"They often experience jerky images, video pauses; a totally unwatchable experience. This is especially true at weekends and in peak times, which is exactly when consumers want their broadband to be as fast as possible."

BBC technology correspondent Rory Cellan-Jones said many consumers were experiencing slow download and upload speeds because of antiquated broadband networks which were not 'doing the job'. A bonded ADSL connection from Managed Communication has guaranteed speeds of 99.9 per cent SLA.

Bonded ADSL involves combining a number of pre-existing ADSL lines to create one super-fast connection. Up to 16 single ADSL lines can be combined in order to ensure a transfer rate ranging from 1Mbps to 10Mbps.

The connection process is very simple and, once complete, subscribers can enjoy unparalleled internet access.
