Business ADSL to increase subscriber numbers

Installation of new exchanges promises rise in business ADSL subscribers

Managed Communications is preparing for an increased number of business ADSL subscribers after BT announced it was adding another 148 ADSL 2 telephone exchanges.

The new exchanges, which will allow a further 6 per cent of UK homes and businesses to sign up for a high speed business ADSL connection from Managed Communications, will come online by winter 2010. Current coverage of the United Kingdom stands at 55 per cent, although the addition of the new hardware will increase access in the east midlands, the north east, the north west and Yorkshire. The number of business ADSL exchanges will total 999 once installation of the new boxes are complete.

Furthermore, the new telephone exchanges will result in an increase of customers able to sign up for bonded ADSL; the state-of-the-art connection from Managed Communications.

Bonded ADSL is a process which combines the download and upload speeds of several connections to create one cost-effective data line. The line can result in upload speed from 1Mbps to 10Mbps and greatly increases download rates as well.

A Managed Communications ADSL line provides up to 32Mbps download speeds and an upload rate of up to 5Mbps. The speed of the connection is guaranteed at 99.9 per cent SLA.

Companies interested in business ADSL can contact Managed Communications for more information. One of our dedicated support team will be able to explain the advantages of the connection and answer any questions you may have about the service.
