Growth in fixed line broadband connections over 2009

Leased lines, such as those provided by Managed Comms, have played their part in fuelling a record uptake in fixed broadband connections. A new study, undertaken by a market research firm, has discovered that fixed line subscription rates have increased by a massive 13 per cent over 2009.

Leased line connections, which provide users with up to 10Gbps download and upload speeds, have been steadily growing in popularity as businesses look for more reliable ways of connecting to the internet. This rise in leased line subscriptions comes as Managed Comms announces a raft of new clients. The British Trust for Ornithology is just the latest in a long line of organisations opting to sign up with us.

A leased line gives an organisation a dedicated data transfer connection. The service, which is guaranteed at 99.9 per cent SLA, can provide upload and download speeds between 2Mbps and 10Gbps. It is one of the most reliable connections currently available and a 1:1 8Mbps leased line can cost as little as £399 per month.

If cost is an issue, you may be interested to learn about another aspect of the Managed Comms package. Our leased lines are priced on bandwidth rather than distance, ensuring customers incur significantly less costs than the same service from other providers.

Finally, don't worry about installation and maintenance delays. The connection can be live within 35 days and may be upgraded and downgraded with limited disruption.

Contact one of the Managed Comms team for more information about our leased lines. One of our friendly staff will be able to answer any questions you may have, as well as being able to provide a personalised subscription quote.
