If your business relies on downloading files, using applications or connecting remote workers or offices to centralised resources you'll appreciate an ADSL2+ connection.

The difference with ADSL2+ isn't just seen when downloading although speeds which are improved. The speed you can upload with ADSL2+ is considerably improved as well.

This means uploading documents to shared areas or sending large attachments will be quicker and easier with ADSL2+.

Why ADSL2+?

When looking for a leased line, UK customers can in fact opt for an affordable alternative, which still provides a high-speed business broadband solution. ADSL2+, also known as ADSL2, is just one of the options available to you. It improves the performance of basic ADSL, by doubling the downstream bitrate. As a result, your data flow could in theory reach up to 24Mbit per second for the downstream and 1.4Mbit per second in the upstream – although it depends how far your office is from the nearest exchange.

As you might expect, this is a perfect solution for businesses that require a super-fast connection to the internet, such as those involved in uploading or downloading large amounts of data. However, a solution such as a leased line might be preferable to those businesses that transfer large files between offices or individuals; a leased line can be used to connect two remote locations, enabling high-speed data transfer between them.
