ADSL utilises the copper telephone lines across the country to deliver an internet connection, with the upstream, downstream and voice all using different frequencies. When ADSL is bonded by Managed Comms, between two and sixteen of these lines are fused together. This creates a large bonded ADSL data pathway, that enables conveniently quick upload and download speeds perfect for businesses.

Unfortunately, there are some limitations to this service. Because it runs over copper, bonded ADSL is usually only available within a certain distance of a telephone exchange. Luckily, this covers most parts of the UK, and Managed Comms also offers some alternatives for those not within reach; for example, our leased lines are not dependent on BT exchanges. Companies can use our Availability Check form to see whether business ADSL, bonded SDSL, or leased lines are available, and at what speeds.
