How does a Load balanced VPN solution work?
In a load balanced VPN, typically network connections are grouped providing 2 live circuits either one of which may support failover.
Unlike physical bonding the site is seen as 2 physical links, not a single pipe. This said upstream and downstream bandwidth is increased as traffic is 'balanced' across all available connections. This therefore offers high-performance resilience and increased availability and a true alternative to a leased line.
